Σκοπός του Ιδρύματος είναι η οικονομική ενίσχυση νέων φοιτητών στον τομέα των επιστημών και των τεχνών. Η οικονομική ενίσχυση δίνεται σε φοιτητές με βάση ακαδημαϊκά και εισοδηματικά κριτήρια.
Το ΔΣ αποτελείται από 8 μέλη, θητεία 4 ετών, 4 ισόβια μέλη,
συνεδριάζει κάθε εξάμηνο.
